One of my favorite shows on Disney was “Paul Bunyan”. What wasn’t to love? A big handsome burly man swinging an axe, chopping hard wood... all while loving on his fancy blue ox. I was hooked.
 
Everybody in that fictional little village loved Paul too. He was the greatest and THE best wood handler around. Though Paul didn’t have much else going for him…when it came to hard wood, this man could lay it down.
 
Until of course, a stranger with a fancy new contraption came a calling and he proved to the townspeople that he could go way longer and way harder with his gadget than Paul ever could. The ladies were transfixed... the men a bit intimidated...
 
And just like that, no one needed Paul and his wood handling skills… he became obsolete and he quickly disappeared into the Arctic Circle, nearly as fast as he came (that's what she said).
 
And that gentlemen, is something to think about.
